The 52-year-old television presenter helped out the mum-of-three by jumping in as a guest presenter on the ITV daytime show on Monday (22.06.20) as she wanted to be there for her children - Belle, nine, Harry, 11, and Chester, five - for their first day back at school amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Holly's co-presenter Phillip Schofield announced 'Big Brother' host Davina as his special guest whilst praising his friend for rightly taking time off for her family.

He said: "Holly is taking her children to school today. They're all going back and it's a staggered affair, so it's quite complicated. So, she's taking her kids to school, as she should."

Phil added: "Davina, it's nice to see you. We've never done this together, have we?"

She replied: "No, I don't think we have done it together. We would have remembered that. I've been a guest. I've shaked my bottom in your face. I'm very nervous, but I'll just follow you. You know what you're doing, you've done it before. It's all ok. (sic)"

It comes just weeks after Holly admitted she has been "riddled with guilt" about being a working mum, and looking after her children has been her "biggest challenge".

She said: "Becoming a mum was the only thing I knew I definitely wanted when I was growing up, but the image I had never involved me being a working mum. That's the biggest challenge.

"I've been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don't want to mess them up."

The 39-year-old star has presented the ITV daytime show since 2009, but her role means she has to skip the school drop-off to be in the studio on time, and she is worried she won't be able to make up for lost time.

She previously said: "I didn't do the drop-off because I was working. I hate that I wasn't there because those memories you can't get back."
