The 52-year-old TV presenter - who hosted the original 'Big Brother' series - is being eyed by Channel 4 bosses to front a star-studded edition of the show.

A TV source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Davina has been approached about the potential of returning to present 'Celebrity Big Brother' again.

"She is the undisputed queen of the show, so it would be a dream to have her back. They're prepared to work everything around her if it means getting her on board. And of course, there will be a healthy pay cheque on offer."

'Big Brother' was hosted by Emma Willis during its run on Channel 5, but Channel 4 bosses fear the show's return could clash with her hosting 'The Circle'.

Meanwhile, Davina recently hailed Nadia Almada as her all-time favourite 'Big Brother' housemate.

The presenter - who hosted the series for 10 years until it moved from Channel 4 to Channel 5 after the 2010 season - thinks she "opened Britain's eyes" to the transgender community.

She said: "I'd possibly say because it meant so much to her, Nadia.

"I did love Brian, he's a very close second, but it meant more to Nadia. It was more of a surprise. Nadia went in there having never been accepted for who she was."

Davina added: "'Big Brother' gave her an opportunity to be someone completely new, no past, no history and no judgement and people totally accepted her for who she was.

"I think that meant so much to her. It meant a lot to the trans community too. Britain opened their eyes, I learnt a lot. She had such an important story to tell. I also love fiery tempers!"
