Game of Thrones actor Emilia Clarke thinks that Jon Snow could make a big return to Game of Thrones, despite being killed in the season five finale.

Fans of the drama witnessed the event rounding off a dramatic season earlier this year, as multiple members of the Night's Watch came forward to deliver his fate.

Things didn't look good and as the credits rolled, so did the tears, down every Jon Snow fan's face in the realm.

Heaping further misery on the fans, showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff have insisted Jon is dead and he will not be returning for the sixth season next year.

Actor Kit Harington even confirmed their words, saying his character was dead and he won't be involved with the next season.

However, Clarke, speaking to MTV, has other ideas and still has hope for Jon.

She said: "Seriously, I can with all honesty say that I have no idea what's happening. If I had to bet, I'd say there's, like, a 50/50 chance [of Jon returning].

"There's some very helpful people there who could bring him back to life..."

Game of Thrones will return for its sixth season on HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2016.
