The 19-year-old actress has opened up on her character’s mission to cause trouble for Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) by getting her attempting to get her fired from the Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits Centre, in scenes which will air on Monday (08.02.21).

Upcoming scenes will see Bear Wolf's (Joshua Richards) wallet mysteriously go missing from The Hide, and all eyes are on Dawn due to her history of bad behaviour.

When a furious Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) sacks Dawn, Kim Tate (Claire King) spots Gabby smirking in triumph, and Rosie has revealed Gabby’s plan is part of a bigger attempt to make Kim proud.

Rosie told Digital Spy: "Now that Gabby is working at The Hide, she's really trying to prove herself to Kim. That's why she plants Bear's wallet in Dawn's bag.

"Gabby is behind the counter smiling when Dawn is framed and Kim catches on to that. Kim pulls Gabby to the side at Home Farm and says: 'That was you, wasn't it?'

"Gabby doesn't actually confirm it was her, but Kim has found out by watching the CCTV. Gabby kicks herself and thinks she has blown this straight away. She worries that Kim will think she won't have potential.

"Kim has always been so scheming with everything and Gabby wants to show that she can do that too. So that's one of her two motives – to show Kim how much potential she's got."

And Rosie confessed her character’s other motive involves her jealousy over Dawn’s bond with Kim’s son Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), whom Rosie had a one night stand with last week before getting her heart broken when he rejected her the following day to focus on Dawn again.

She added: "Gabby has shown an interest in Jamie for a while now, ever since she's been working at The Hide. She is attracted to him, his power, his money and the huge house. Jamie has just got everything that Gabby would want, really.

"So although Gabby is framing Dawn to show that she can be like Kim, she's also trying to get Dawn fired and out of Jamie's line of women! Unfortunately it doesn't work and Gabby's plan backfires, because Jamie offers Dawn a job at the vets and he also leaves to go back to the vets himself.

"Gabby is fuming. She is so annoyed that her plan didn't work. Kim shares that annoyance as well."
