The former 'Love Island' winner topped the leaderboard three times in a row in the lead up to Sunday night's (18.02.24) show, when she ended up in the skate-off, but survived when former 'EastEnders' star Ricky Norwood was sent home instead.

Away from the rink, Amber has been trolled on social media, so much so she has deleted X, formerly Twitter, because the negative messages were getting to her.

Speaking on 'Lorraine', she said: "I've deleted Twitter [X] now. I haven't been on TV for seven years, and social media has changed.

"I'm quite sensitive, I'm more sensitive than I thought, and I've been reading people's comments. I've really let it get into my head.

"I feel like everything I do is wrong in some of people's perspective from the audience."

Amber has now called for viewers to be more "mindful" when writing comments on social media.

She said: "So I just wanted to say, 'Please be mindful when you're writing on someone's social media, because we are just human beings.'

"Maybe rather than going onto my page and leaving a negative comment, go to the contestant's page you support and leave a really lovely comment to them. Flick the switch a little bit."

Despite the trolling, Amber admitted 'Dancing on Ice' has been the "best experience" of her life.

She added: "It's pushed me to limits I never thought I would go to."

The star was favourite to win the series before Sunday's skate-off appearance, but Amber had a feeling she might be in the bottom two.

She said: "I had a gut feeling it was coming, in some weird way.

"I thought, 'Only I could go from top of the leaderboards to the skate-off.' "
