The 29-year-old reality TV star has been raising her two-year-old daughter Sunday alone since her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins, Sunday's father, was jailed in 2017 for a nightclub acid attack.

Motherhood means that Ferne doesn't have the time for romance and she admits she does suffer from loneliness and wishes she had a man in her life.

Expressing her feelings to a friend on her ITV reality show 'Ferne McCann: First Time Mum', she spilled: "When I actually stop and think about my situation ... I never actually let myself get to that stage where I want to meet someone."

Ferne vowed to raise her daughter alone after Arthur was jailed for 20 years for injuring 14 people in the acid attack.

Now, the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is ready to meet someone new after she was seen earlier this year getting choked up as she went on her first date since splitting from Arthur.

She continued: "I'm so ready to meet someone now, I don't want to be on my own."

"Being away with my sister, her husband, the guys in Spain ... Seeing people with their kids in a partnership, it is really hard.

"Because I feel like it's all on me, I just want that affection and love."

The former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' contestant also revealed her desire to get married and have younger siblings for Sunday to play with.

She added: "I want to grow up and have a family, and I want to get married as well."
