The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star presents a showbiz news round-up on 'This Morning' but says she'd love to make the leap into full-time presenting and has her eyes on the raunchy dating show currently fronted by Caroline Flack.

Asked whether she'd consider a slot on the celebrity version of the show, she shared: "Probably not. Although I'd like to present it! Caroline Flack is incredible. She's definitely someone I aspire to be like. (Presenting) is what I wanted to do as a kid and I've learned so much at 'This Morning'."

For the moment, Ferne is dipping her toes into acting after she starred in the musical 'Gatsby' in London and is delighted with the opportunities that keep coming her way.

She told Star magazine: "I'm doing a short film and I'm going out to LA to shoot a few bits, which all followed on from doing the musical 'Gatsby'. It's what I love and I fell so happy."

Ferne recently revealed she sent off an audition tape for the television series 'S Club Search' in 2001 in the hope of joining the young group - also known as S Club 8 - which was a spin-off of the popular 90s band S Club 7.

If she had of been accepted for the group, which ran from 2001 until 2005, she would have performed alongside the likes of band members Frankie Sandford, Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Rose Saville, and Rochelle Humes.

She said: "I auditioned to be in S Club Juniors. Obviously never made the band, because I would have been in it."

And the 25-year-old beauty - who quit 'TOWIE' in February after a successful stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - also tried to land herself a part in 'Harry Potter' as Ron Weasley's lover however, that never happened either.

She said: "I also auditioned for a part in 'Harry Potter' to play Ron Weasley's girlfriend. And obviously didn't get that part either because I would have been in the 'Harry Potter' films."
