Franz Drameh has now joined the cast of the new Untitled DC Project in the role of Jay Jackson.

The character's description reads: "Jay Jackson, a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew."

Cyborg, is that you?

Also set to star in the DC show are The Flash's Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein - one half of Firestorm. Arrow's Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) AKA The Atom is confirmed, and Caity Lotz will also star, though it's unclear on what basis or in what role.

Drameh is from London and started out his acting career in British television, starring on BBC as Granville Cunningham in Parents of the Band. His film debut came later in Hereafter alongside Matt Damon and with Clint Eastwood directing.

Future projects saw him gain popularity as part of BBC Three comedy Some Girls and in British sleeper hit Attack The Block.

America got their first taste of him when he starred with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in Warner Brothers' Edge of Tomorrow, and he'll next be seen alongside Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton in A Hundred Streets.
