Game of Thrones returns April
Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin has confirmed that he's mulling over the idea of ending the Game of Thrones television series with a movie.
The epic fantasy series currently airs on HBO in America and Sky Atlantic in the UK, and is based on the writer's best-selling line of novels.
"It all depends on how long the main series runs" Martin told reporters at this week's Season 4 premiere in New York City.
"Do we run for seven years? Do we run for eight? Do we run for 10? The books get bigger and bigger (in scope). It might need a feature to tie things up, something with a feature budget, like $100 million for two hours."
With two books still to be written and released by the fantasy writer, he continues to whet the appetite of fans all over the world, and commented: "those dragons get real big, you know."
