The first episode of the upcoming fourth season of Game of Thrones is to be simulcast in the UK and USA it was confirmed at last night's London premiere in London's Guildhall.

Sky Atlantic will air the episode at 2am on Monday, April 7, while America broadcasts the premiere at 9pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The UK can also catch the episode at 9pm on the same night.

Media, celebrities and fabs were invited to a special preview screening followed by a cast question and answer last night in the Guildhall, before being given the chance to have their pictures taken on The Iron Throne.

Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark attended, as well as Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) and John Bradley who portrays Samwell Tarly AKA Sam The Slayer.

Other cast members including Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) also attended the event.
