The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star - who goes by her nickname ‘Toff’ and was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2017 - detailed how found it “really important” to go makeup-free when she returned for the all-star edition of the ITV1 reality show alongside fellow campers like ‘Coronation Street’ star Helen Flanagan, telly presenter Myleene Klass and retired cricketer Phil Tufnell.

After leaving the camp, the 28-year-old star said: “Part of me kept on thinking: ‘I really want my concealer’. I’m not totally myself when I haven’t got my war paint on. But I’ve been suffering with it for 15 years, and it was really important to me that I didn’t hide behind my concealer.

“So many people struggle with it like I do. And I wanted people to see that a) that’s normal and b) that even if you’ve got every single privilege in life that I do, you can still have it. It doesn’t matter how well off you are or if you’re a celebrity.”

As she departed the programme - which is hosted by Ant and Dec - Toff called returning to the show “glorious” as she finds so much “contentment” living such a stripped-back life.

She added: “It was glorious. Every time I go into that camp I transform into this little warrior. I don’t mind smelling or the lack of food. I just find such contentment in there.’”

The ‘This Morning’ contributor was eliminated from the show alongside 'Corrie' icon Andy Whyment, who confessed his second stint was “much tougher” than his original 2019 run in Australia after clashes with supermodel Janice Dickinson.

The 42-year-old soap star said: “I wasn’t in the winning team, ever. I was on rice and beans, so it was really tough.

“I was working my a*** off. I was tired, not eating a lot. It does take it out of you. The days felt so much longer in South Africa. Plus Ant and Dec kept popping into camp to drop bombshells. I found it much tougher than Australia but still really enjoyed it.”
