Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist have really come into their own in their respective roles on The Flash and Supergirl and now, with the confirmation of the two coming together for a crossover episode, bits and pieces from the event have been trickling out to the public.

The latest is a picture straight from the set posted to Instagram by Gustin himself, teasing that his Flash emblem and Benoist's Supergirl logo look 'pretty good' together.

Fans never knew if this day would come before the announcement, as The Flash sits on The CW with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, whilst Supergirl was picked up by CBS. Luckily it's been confirmed that DC Comics TV Multiverse is shared despite the network difference, with Gustin also recently confirming the episode would the 18th of Supergirl's current first season, titled 'World's Finest'.

Shooting his Supergirl scenes in Los Angeles for half a week, Gustin looks at home on set leaving everybody wondering just whether or not Benoist would be repaying the favour and heading on over to The Flash's Central City at some point in the future.

This crossover comes after Matt Ryan's take on John Constantine ventured to Star City in the fourth season of Arrow, after the character had its own now-cancelled series on NBC. Bringing such a vast array of DC characters together is only ever going to be exciting for the fans.

Supergirl continues in the US, Mondays at 8pm on CBS, with The Flash following on Tuesdays at 8pm on The CW. Arrow broadcasts 8pm also on The CW and DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs 8pm on The CW on Thursdays. All four shows continue on Sky1 in the UK.
