Helen Flanagan is set to return to 'Coronation Street'.

The 22-year-old beauty - who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap for 12 years before quitting in February 2012 after suffering from depression - is wanted by show bosses to make a dramatic return to the cobbles alongside her on-screen father Michael Le Vell (Kevin Webster), if he is found not guilty of child sex offences.

A 'Corrie' insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "The Websters are one of our strongest families. Having them all back together will be popular with the fans and show our faith in Michael and Helen."

Helen's onscreen sister Brooke Vincent - who plays Sophie Webster - recently insisted the Webster family should be reunited and admitted the blonde stunner was great at portraying ditsy Rosie.

Speaking about Helen, she said: "She was very good at being Rosie Webster, she was a great character.

"A few years ago the Websters were a solid unit. Corrie misses that."

Since leaving the show, Helen has gone on to appear in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' and has come under fire for posting several controversial comments on Twitter.

Michael will stand trial in September accused of 19 charges of rape, indecent assault and sexual activity with a child, all of which he vehemently denies, but if he is found not guilty then he is expected to land a huge deal to return to the soap.

Another insider added: "Returning to 'Corrie' could give Michael and Helen the stability they need."
