The 'This Morning' presenter admitted it is getting easier to be more eco-friendly because it is becoming "second nature", and her children - Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and seven-year-old Chester, who she shares with husband Dan Baldwin - are "really hot on it" because they learn about being environmentally conscious at school.

She said: "You live and learn so much, but I particularly feel a responsibility because I have three kids.

"The kids are really hot on it. They learn about it at school and they want to be environmentally friendly.

"At home we do an awful lot of it. I think most people now want to do as much as they can.

"It’s getting easier to do it because it’s becoming second nature."

Holly has also swapped her face wipes for biodegradable ones.

She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It wasn’t that long ago we were using face wipes and make-up wipes and things like that.

"You can get biodegradable face wipes now."

It comes after 'This Morning' - which she co-hosts with Phillip Schofield - recently bought a forest as part of the programme's "biggest-ever project", in a bid to go greener.

Phil and Holly will present today's show from the piece of woodland, which is in a secret location.

Announcing the forest buy on the show earlier this month, Phil said: "COVID has made us all appreciate the natural world all around us, and we thought we would like to continue that newfound appreciation by doing our little bit to help the planet."

Holly said: "Which is why we have bought a forest."

Phil added: "Well the show, not us.

"It's an ancient woodland of several acres, and now that we own it it will never be built on.

"'This Morning' has saved hundreds of trees, shrubs, bugs and wildlife all in our forest."
