The 'EastEnders' actress admits she never has the best of times celebrating the turning of the year in public as she always loses her pals and ends up counting down the seconds by herself.

She said: "I hate going out for New Year's Eve. I always end up losing everyone and doing the countdown in the toilet on my own."

This year, the 23-year-old star will be enjoying a quiet night at home with fiance Dan Osborne - who has 23-month-old son Teddy from a previous relationship - and their daughter Ella, nine months.

Dan said: "We've stayed in the past couple of years, so I imagine we'll do that again.

"I'm hoping that I'll get to have Teddy so that way we can all hang out together."

Dan is already looking forward to Christmas 2016 as his son will have so much more awareness of the festive season.

He told OK! magazine: "He's still too young to know who Father Christmas is but it'll still be fun having him around.

"I'm looking forward to next year when he's old enough to really get into the Christmas spirit."
