Will Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith has officially been signed up to star in the upcoming Batman prequel television series.
Gotham has already casted Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Robin Lord Taylor as The Penguin, and now Jada will take on the role of Fish Mooney - a vicious mob boss who hires Oswald Cobblepot, the young psychopath who goes on to become The Penguin.
The new FOX series will focus on the life of rookie detective Jim Gordon, set when Bruce Wayne is just 12 years of age - yet to be cast.
Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards and Donal Logue are also all taking roles in the show.
No broadcast date has been set yet for Gotham.
