The 32-year-old magician is fresh from wowing audiences on this year's 'Britain's Got Talent' and is currently performing in the West End with his show 'The Illusionist' but he's now revealed he's likely to be getting his very own TV show.

Jamie exclusively revealed to BANG Showbiz: "We're trying to get a TV show at the minute. There's an idea we have and we're in talks for that at the moment."

Jamie has kept in touch with tough talking 'BGT' judge Simon Cowell - who runs the record label Syco - but didn't confirm whether the music mogul was involved in the making of the new show.

He said: "I was asked to entertain at a party at Syco so that was lovely, and I saw Simon and we had a chat. He is a lovely guy."

And Simon isn't the only celebrity impressed with Jamie's magical talents.

Ashton Kutcher, Drake, Ne-Yo and Richard Branson have all publicly shared their support for his skills.

Meanwhile, Jamie's wife Ashley is also enjoying the perks of Jamie's success.

The lucky spouse was thrilled to get to meet her hero, TV Chef James Martin, at the TV Choice Awards.

Jamie added: "Ashley is in love with James so when we were there I said to him, 'Sorry to disturb you but will you take a picture with my wife please? It will make her year', and he said, 'Yeah, cool man'.

"Then he won the Best Food Show award for 'Saturday Kitchen' and as we were leaving he said 'Ashley, you must be my lucky charm, we've been doing that show for 10 years and we've never won any awards or anything!' So it made her life."

The Illusionists is coming to London's Shaftesbury Theatre from November 14 and tickets are available at http://www.theillusionistslive.com
