The former 'Hollyoaks' actress had a "brilliant" weekend visiting the theme park, but was concerned she wouldn't make it out of the resort's newest attraction with both her pals after they were singled out to play key roles in the interactive spooky show.

Jorgie shared a photo on Instagram and captioned it: "Such a brilliant time @altontowers this weekend Thankyou for having us #altontowersdungeon and having @alex.zane and @ryan_kayodevolunteers I thought I'd almost lost them at times (sic)"

The "hilariously hideous" dungeon allows visitors to explore Staffordshire's darkest history with an interactive show and both of the blonde beauty's pals, Alex and Ryan, were imprisoned by the Torturer - and Alex was later singled out again in a story about the plague.

The 31-year-old actress found it hilarious seeing her pals squirm - but was still a little worried.

An onlooker told BANG Showbiz: "Jorgie found it really funny when they were waving the torture instruments around and talking about the symptoms of the plague.

"But when the nurse pulled the curtain around Alex after 'treating' him and then ushered everyone else out of the room, she did seem a bit concerned whether or not he'd be coming out in one piece."

Thankfully, her dancer pal was freed from the nurse's clutches and joined the group for the rest of the tour.

Other stars who experienced the Dungeon included 'Coronation Street' stars Lucy Fallon and Ryan Clayton, actor Will Mellor, reality TV stars Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagen, along with their boyfriends Jushua Ritchie and Jacob Blyth, singer Shayne Ward and model Portia Freeman and her husband Pete Denton.
