The 'Benidorm' stars - who played husband and wife Billy and Sheron Dawson in the hit show - will tie the knot again for the upcoming drama series 'Dun Breedin'.

Julie - who has written the new series - told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "We have a natural chemistry, but we rarely get through a take without collapsing in laughter."

The 54-year-old actress will play menopausal Roo Jameson, who tends to force her husband Steve to take refuge in his man cave.

The series will follow Roo and a group of her friends - who are played by the likes of Denise Walsh, Angela Griffin, Tamzin Outhwaite, Alison Newman and Tracy Ann Oberman - as they navigate life as their bodies change.

The drama series comes after Julie complained she was tired of seeing menopause being ridiculed on television.

The actress revealed she wants to open up the conversation.

She recently said: "They [the shows] kind of ridicule us in a way. And that's just got to stop, because, you know, the menopause, for me is not the end of something. It's the beginning of something. It's a new chapter - and it's very empowering as well.

"It's about opening up the conversation about it. It can be the best time of your life as well, the most empowering time, the time when you can make changes, where you don't care what people think about you. There is life after menopause - and I want to shout that up from the rooftops."
