Katie Price had begged 'Celebrity Haunted Mansion' bosses for a place on the line-up.
The 39-year-old former glamour model was so desperate to get on the current series of the eerie show that she reached out to presenters Christine Lampard and Matt Richardson and even repeatedly tweeted the W TV channel account to find out how she could apply.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Matt said: "Katie will be great [on the show]. She booked herself on it! We were doing the show and Katie Price is tweeting the W account and me and Christine being like 'How do I get on his show? I want to come down, cause you're in Kent it's not far from me, I want to do it.' So this year we were like, 'we'll just call Katie Price.'"
And the 'Loose Women' panellist is certainly fit for the programme as she invited Lee Roberts, one of the UK's leading paranormal investigators, to her house recently.
Lee said: "Katie is very much into ghost-hunting and the paranormal and we have been messaging for a couple of months on Twitter. So we just wanted to explore it a little more. I've just been showing her the ropes.
"It was not so much an investigation [at her house] - it was a look at the experiments we would conduct, what equipment we could use.
"She's had in the past things that were moving - the family has seen shadows... [I was] showing her how to use the equipment. We were using it to see if it was picking up anything - she's had bits and bobs [of paranormal activity] over the years."
Katie is also used to sharing her home with eerie figures as she admitted last year that she had to call a medium in to get rid of some spirits.
She explained at the time: "Most of my houses are haunted. When I've had mediums rounds they say it's me. I have an aura around me...
"We had it cleared because it was haunted and we had to get rid of the ghosts. The kids would sometimes scream in the night.
"On one occasion I heard [son] Junior screaming, 'Help, help,' in the middle of the night and I went up to see him and he said he'd seen someone outside."
