Kem Cetinay doubts he would last a week in the 'Love Island' villa now because his "game's got progressively worse".

The 25-year-old reality TV star rose to fame on ITV's dating show when he paired up with Amber Davies in the villa in 2017, but he has ruled a return to the programme and insisted he "just got lucky".

During an appearance on Capital Breakfast with Rob Howard and Lauren Layfield, Kem was asked: "Would you go on [Love Island] again now?"

To which he replied: "No, because I think my game's got progressively worse as the years have gone on. I think I'd probably be out of it in a week. I just got lucky!"

Kem was envious of the contestants who entered the villa the year after he was on the show.

Rob asked him if "ex-Islanders get a bit jealous of the new crop because you kinda think 'oh hello, here's a bit more competition I don't need' or do you now feel like you've moved on from that?"

And Kem replied: "Do you know what, to be honest, the first year I did. A little bit. The first year, like the year after I went on, and I'd just started 'The Morning After' show I was a bit like [exhales] 'that's my bed! Is that my bed? That's my seat! I think that's my toothbrush!' But now I like it. Now I don't mind it, now it's fine. I don't think I could do it if I went in again."

Ahead of 'Love Island' returning tonight (28.06.21), Kem revealed that the contestants will be in an apartment and will know nothing about their fellow Islanders until they go in.

He said: "No, you literally see nothing from when you fly out there. You're kinda just in an apartment waiting. So you don't know anything about anyone until you walk down them stairs."

Tune into Capital Breakfast, weekdays from 6am – 10am.
