The 45-year-old star - who already has sons Oscar, 14, and 11-year-old Jude with ex-husband Paul Sampson - is in a "new relationship" and would love to get pregnant "sooner rather than later".

Appearing on the Women's Health UK podcast 'Going For Goal', she said: "I'd love another child. I feel completely ready for it. I feel healthier than ever, fitter than ever, I think my mind's better than it's ever been.

"I think sometimes when you have rough patches in your life... as long as you learn, come through it, and get yourself back in a strong place again, I think you feel rather good.

"I'd obviously want to do it sooner rather than later, but I toy with it right now."

The former 'Sky Sports' presenter insisted there should be no issue with her wanting to have a child at 45 as long as she's "fit, healthy [and] able".

She added: "I'm in a new relationship right now and I feel like saying, if someone's got a problem, why is that?

"Why am I too old? What is the problem if I'm fit, healthy, able, and we want to do that?"

Meanwhile, Kirsty has been open about the devastating impact of her divorce from ex Paul - whom she was married to from 2010 until 2015 - after their 15-year relationship came to an end.

She previously said: "The divorce was a very difficult period. I found it devastating.

"I was grieving and mourning. I think I had PTSD. I was skinny, not eating and wanting to black it all out. It was painful."

Kirsty also revealed she felt a "burden" following their split.

She explained: "I felt a burden and a sadness for my children, even though I didn't do anything wrong and Sammo didn't do anything wrong. No one was to blame."
