Kitty Scott-Claus wants to be a talent show judge

The former ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ star - whose real name is Louie Westwood - has her eye on taking either Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell or Alesha Dixon's place on the ITV talent competition one day, or she would love to a panellist on 'The X Factor' if the programme ever returns.

The 30-year-old drag performer exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I want to be a judge on like, ‘The X Factor’ or ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. That would be my dream.”

Kitty also says she’s “team everyone” while she keeps updated on the BBC Three drag reality show, on which she made her name.

She added: “I love them all. Honestly, the drag scene is so small that like, everyone knows everyone anyway.

“And it’s always like when 12 girls disappear and go offline at the same time, it’s like, ‘okay’.”

The ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ star has joined forces with supermarket Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing for the first ever moving changing room, and their body confidence lessons at their ‘School of Strut' have "changed the game" for her confidence in trying on garments in-store.

Kitty said: “Before working with Tu, and before doing this campaign, I was one of those people, I would not go into a changing room. I would avoid, I would literally buy whatever, take it home, try it on and then like nine times out of 10, if it doesn’t fit or it doesn’t look good, I’d just be like, ‘Oh, I’ll take it back eventually.’ But I’ve got piles of stuff. But it really has changed the game.

“I went shopping the other day, and I was like, 'You know what, I'm gonna go into the changing room, and I'm gonna feel confident and powerful,' and I was literally in the changing rooms, doing some power poses, feeling my Beyonce fancy.

"It really is a game changer because I literally felt fabulous and it also saves so much time because then you don't have to worry about like, bringing everything back.”

Kitty believes styling yourself in a store ought to be a “completely positive experience”.

She said: "Now it would include doing some power poses, shouting some confidence and affirmations.

“Like, I think it should be a completely positive experience. If something doesn't fit your style doesn't look right. It's not the end of the world. There's there's other sizes, there's other shops, there's other options available. It's not the be all and end all.

“I remember growing up and thinking like, ‘Oh my God, nothing suits me, nothing looks right. Nothing blah, blah, blah’. And I just think what Tu clothing are doing is so, so important because it's allowing people to feel fabulous in themselves."

Kitty Scott-Claus has partnered with Tu Clothing to launch the new Autumn Winter collection, which is available to purchase at tu.co.uk.
