The former 'Love Island' star confirmed on social media that she and the former 'Hollyoaks' actor are set to welcome a baby into the world later this year, admitting the pair's "hearts are full".

She shared a video montage of her baby bump, which included several snaps of Gary, and wrote on Instagram: "Our hearts are full. Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23 (sic)"

Gary commented on the montage: "There she is. so very proud of you Mummy Bear. cooking Baby Bear perfectly (sic)"

However, Gary, 41, has now confirmed he and the 33-year-old star - who met on 'Celebs Go Dating' last year - have split up.

He told The Sun newspaper: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.

"My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby."

Last month, it was reported that Laura and Gary had broken up after she deleted all pictures of Gary from her Instagram account.

A source said at the time: "They are calling it a break but it looks unlikely they will get back together.

"They want different things at the end of the day."

Laura also hinted at the break-up on her Instagram Stories.

She shared a picture of herself with her dog Buddy and wrote: "I know I've been quiet on here and not myself this week or so.

"I'm going through a very difficult time, I actually don't think I've ever felt so stressed in my life.

"As we know Instagram isn't real life but over sharing negativity has never been something like doing. Anyway my thought of the day for us all is - Never lose yourself or your voice."

The reports came after Laura helped nurse Gary back to health when he was involved in a horror car smash over the Christmas holiday period.

And Gary previously admitted he wanted Laura to move to Essex and meet his four children.

He said: "Well, everyone on the show keeps talking weddings and kids and all that … It's lovely. I mean, long may that continue really. I enjoy every part.

"I want to bring her back to mine, roast dinner with my mum, because her approval is important, and then chill. I want to get her down to Essex with me. I think she's an Essex girl at heart."
