The 34-year-old former 'Love Island' star is expecting her first child with her ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy and she's just weeks away from becoming a mum to a baby girl - but Laura is keen to skip straight to the birth because she's been experiencing so much discomfort.

In her column for OK! magazine, she wrote: "I'm really over this pregnancy now, I feel huge and I am so uncomfortable - I honestly don't understand how my belly can keep growing, there's no more room.

"My daughter isn't due for another few weeks yet, but honestly, I can't see me making it to my next midwife appointment at this rate."

Laura went on to insist she isn't scared about the birth itself, but she's worried about all of the huge changes she's facing.

She added: "I'm more scared about the rest of my life, and all of the other things I've got to do ...

"From the moment you find out you're pregnant until your baby is eighteen, and even beyond that, there's just constant change, and it's quite a big thing to think about. Having said all of that, I'm really excited to meet my little girl now, and I'm ready for the next bit."

Laura is single after splitting from her baby's father - 'Hollyoaks' star Gary - following a brief romance, and she's preparing herself for all the challenges that will come with raising a child alone.

She has been busy preparing for motherhood and recently moved into a new home with more space and previously insisted settling down in a new flat has helped make her feel organised ahead of the birth.

Laura's baby is due in August.
