A morning brunch surprises the Islanders when they wake up in tonight's (June 30th, 2022) episode of Love Island, allowing them to enjoy a couples' brunch and discuss the dramatic events of the recoupling the night before.

Speaking to Paige about her words, Jacques says: "The speech last night, I believe that was a special moment. It made me feel so full inside."

Luca is also happy with what Gemma had to say, telling her: "Honestly, it was a good speech and I'm just glad we've got something very special going on."

Meanwhile, over on Andrew and Tasha’s table, Andrew says: "I've not felt like this in a very, very long time, if not ever."

Tasha agrees, replying: “I’ve not had a guy that looks at me the way you do, you see it in the movies when they give that certain look to each other- I feel like we have that.”

Later that day, Ekin-Su speaks to Luca about him stepping in to play matchmaker with her and Davide. Luca then pulls Davide aside and tells him that he believes Ekin-Su is being "genuine this time."

He continues: “She put her heart out there now in front of everyone. In the firepit to say what she said. She wants a chance, she wants to try and get back to the way you were.”

Davide then pulls Ekin-Su for a chat, where she tells him: “I am ready to make it up to you, I am ready to try. It’s cool if we take it slow, it’s cool if we’re friends, it’s cool I’m not going to pressurise you at all. I just want to know that you’ll give me a chance?”

Also hoping to clear the air with Antigoni, Ekin-Su senses tensions and so pulls her aside to say: “I like you, I have nothing against you, I don’t want to fall out with you - if you have anything you feel like you want to say to me go for it.”

Speaking about the recoupling, Antigoni says: “A lot of the girls were under the impression you were gonna pick Charlie yesterday, you gave that vibe.”

Love is definitely in the air for Luca and Gemma, who are chosen by the rest of the Islanders to spend the night in the Hideaway.

Gemma says in the Beach Hut: “Finally! I feel like it has been a long time coming. So nice it’s just gonna be us two. I’m just buzzing.”

Show bosses are clearly keen for Davide to give Ekin-Su a chance, as they are sent on a date at a secluded vineyard the next day.

In the Beach Hut Ekin-Su says: “I feel emotional, I feel romantic, I feel like this is the best things that could happen right now.”

Davide tells the boys that he is going to try and be more open with Ekin-Su than he has been before, but when Luca tells him, “You’ve got to end the date on a kiss”, will he take the advice or, continue to take things slow?
