The 'X Factor' winner may have swiped the show's crown last year after the public chose him as their champion but he has admitted he still feels cautious about the wannabe rapper - who got kicked out just before the final - nipping at his heels.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "Honey G was always going to be one of those characters who had a huge impact on all the contestants last year, yeah definitely (she's still a threat), I saw her the other day at an event, she was so pleased to see me and really nice, I can't wait for the tour to be reunited with everybody."

And the 23-year-old singer has every reason to be concerned as the funny star was the first act from the singing show to nab a record deal with Simon Cowell's label Syco.

She said: "It's the kind of thing that I'd like to do to negotiate an album deal with Syco. I would love to collaborate with Snoop Dogg. He is a hip-hop legend!"

And it seems her wish may come true as she has claimed the 45-year-old hip-hop legend has been in contact with her mentor Sharon Osbourne's daughter, Kelly.

Honey - whose real name is Anna Gilford - said: "Snoop phoned Sharon's daughter Kelly and said he wanted to work with me, but I don't think he's been in contact with my management yet. But, believe it or not, one of the Syco producers has already written a second single and wants to release it in the New Year which is amazing. I have the backing of Syco and hopefully this will help in my next step in negotiating a record deal with them. What I want to do is negotiate a deal. We want to make it happen. I don't think there is a specific timescale - I think they are allowed to make two singles with me, and then if they make a third, they have to make an album."
