Max George wants to engage in a saucy textual relationship with Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The Wanted hunk has played down recent reports he has been sending the 'Only Way is Essex' star flirty messages, insisting he doesn't even have her phone number, but admits if the stunning brunette was to drop him a line he would be quick to hit the reply button.
Speaking to Yahoo! omg!, he said: "I read that and thought, 'I bleeding wish!'
"She's very pretty, it's very flattering! If I did have her number, yeah, I'd probably give it a go! But there is nothing in it unfortunately.
"I think it's because we followed each other on Twitter so people on Twitter thought the same [as the article] saying, 'Oh they're texting each other and blah blah blah,' that was all it was, there's nothing in it."
Should Max and Lucy hook up then it would complete a celebrity love circle of sorts as the singer was previously in a relationship with 'Coronation Street' beauty Michelle Keegan, who is now dating Lucy's former fling Mark Wright.
In another twist, Max has turned to reality TV in more ways than one after the boy band's new show 'The Wanted Life' made its debut on E! earlier this month.
