The third series of Mr Selfridge has now gone into production, and new additions to the cast have been revealed.

Zoë Wanamaker will step into the role of trouble-making Russian Princess Marie de Bolotoff, whose son Serge - played by Leon Ockenden - is married to Harry's eldest daughter Rosalie in the opening episode.

Kara Tointon takes on Rosalie Selfridge and her real-life sister Hannah Tointon is also to star as rebellious Selfridge sibling, Violette. This will be the first time the sisters act together on-screen.

Sacha Parkinson is also joining the cast, as Kitty Hawkins' amibitious younger sister as well as Kelly Adams as Nancy Webb - Harry's new love interest.

With the second series of Mr Selfridge averaging 6.4 million viewers, it goes from strength to strength and manages to keep audiences gripped throughout all ten episodes per series.

Lead writer Kate Brooke will return with Kate O'Riordan and Helen Raynor, whilst Lindy Woodhead - author of the book that inspired the series - will continue as advisor on retail history.

Filming takes place at a lavish replica of the 1919 Selfridge's shop, on location in Greater London, with the shop floor recreated in a former carpet warehouse whilst the exterior is filmed in the Dockyard Chatham in Kent.

Dominic Barlow produces and Kate Lewis is executive producers for ITV Studios alongside Kate Brooke and Kate O'Riordan.
