Nicole Scherzinger tells her 'X Factor' hopefuls to "grow some balls" at Boot Camp.
The 35-year-old judge is mentoring the Girls category on this year's series of the TV talent show, and she blasts the aspiring stars on tonight's episode (28.09.13) for a lack of passion in the early stage of the competition.
She says: "Girls, you watching these auditions? Not in the best mood right now.
"That last performance pissed me off. Please don't waste my time. Because I care too much.
"You need to know what you're singing about and focus on that song, singing it with all your heart, or else I will not care and you will not get through today. Tough love, okay. Kick some butt and grow some balls."
Lacklustre performances won't sit well with the former Pussycat Doll - who won the previous series with James Arthur - and despite the poor start to Boot Camp, she has been "blown away" by the talent shown by her hopefuls this year.
She insisted: "I have the gorgeous girls and I am just blown away by the talent.
"They are so young but still their voices have developed so much. I am really excited."
