ABC have officially renewed Once Upon A Time for a fifth season just weeks ahead of the season 4 finale. The news was broken on Twitter by co-creator Adam Horowitz, but the news was actually prematurely revealed by a cast member earlier in the year.
Prince Charming actor Josh Dallas was the man who let the news slip to KTLA that they'd resume filming on the fantasy drama series in July.
Fans of the show in the UK recently got the show back via Netflix, with all three previous seasons available on the streaming service as well as existing season four episodes and new episodes coming shortly after broadcast in America.
There's now just two episodes left of the current season, which has seen some incredible storylines and the additions of new faces.
Once Upon A Time continues on Sunday at 8pm on ABC, with season 4 concluding the week following.
