Paul Hollywood is keen to crack American - again.

The 50-year-old celebrity chef attempted to make a name for himself Stateside three years ago when he presented 'The American Baking Competition' - the US version of 'The Great British Bake Off' - but it was dropped after just one series after it failed to pull enough viewers.
However, he now believes he's got a second chance of international stardom after his new show 'City Bakes' was recently picked up by a mystery US network.
A source said: "Everyone thought Paul had blown it last time round when his show was cancelled. But 'City Bakes' has been a great success in the UK - and this is a lifeline for his career across the pond."
Paul, who presents The Food Network's 'City Bakes' on his own, is set to head over to America with his wife Alexandra to promote the tummy-gurgling programme, which sees him travel to cities all over the world visiting local bakeries.
Meanwhile, this year looks set to be a busy one for the silver fox as he's also tied up judging alongside Mary Berry on the hit show 'The Great British Bake Off'.
