'The Great Sport Relief Bake Off' has seen Johnny Vaughan compete, but Paul Hollywood refused to try cookies created by the star.
The former 'Big Breakfast' star tried his hand at baking in a charity edition of popular BBC Two series 'The Great British Bake Off', but judge Paul was reluctant to taste the star's cookies which had been improperly prepared.
He explained: "Paul didn't even taste my first offering, cookies. He just punched them. I didn't realise I'd changed the oven dial from 'bake' to 'grill'. It turns out you can't grill tarte tatin either."
The 47-year-old radio host faced a mixed reaction about his appearance on the show from his family, as his son was convinced he would embarrass himself.
He said: "My wife was enthusiastic because she thinks I'm a really good cook. My 10-year-old son shook his head and said, 'You're going to embarrass yourself again, dad, just like you did on Top Gear.' Actually, it was worse than 'Top Gear'! "
Johnny didn't prepare much for his appearance on the show and found it difficult to master even the most simple tasks in the 'Bake Off' tent.
Speaking to Radio Times magazine, he recalled: "I knew I'd never get around to sitting down and teaching myself, so I thought I'd throw myself in at the deep end.
"I really panicked. When they asked how it was going, I was concentrating that hard I couldn't talk. All I was doing was buttering a tin."
