Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden lock lips on 'This Morning'

The 53-year-old presenter planted a peck on Amanda's lips while she stood in for his regular co-host Holly Willoughby on today's (19.10.15) show.

Amanda was tucking into a bowl of chicken noodle soup cooked up by chef Phil Vickery when Phillip joked that it looked like a scene from the classic Disney film 'Lady and the Tramp'.

Recreating the scene, in which dogs Lady and Tramp find themselves sucking on the same piece of spaghetti while enjoying a romantic meal, Phillip grabbed the end of the noodle Amanda was eating and placed it in his mouth.

The presenters continued to eat their ends of the noodle before locking lips and giggling while Phil looked on in amusement.

Amanda previously stood in for Holly while she was away on maternity leave and Phil revealed he was excited to have the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge back on the sofa with him earlier this morning (19.10.15).

He wrote on Twitter: "Welcome back @AmandaHolden to @itvthismorning! Joining us, #StephenTompkinson @Rylan @Michael_C_Fox & @philvickerytv (sic)."
