The outspoken star recently quit 'Good Morning Britain' in light of his controversial comments about the Duchess of Sussex, but Piers remains a big draw for broadcasters, with GB News and Fox News both vying for his services.

A TV source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "He has had millions of pounds worth of offers. He turned 'GMB' into a ratings hit, it seems everything he touches turns to gold.

"People love his honesty, even the people that don’t like him, they can’t help but be interested in what he says. Some of the offers have hit the £10 million mark, and it seems he may be able to land exactly what he wants."

Piers quit the ITV show after his comments about the Duchess prompted a backlash from viewers.

However, GB News chairman Andrew Neil recently admitted he's keen to recruit the TV star for his new platform.

He said: "We're about to launch GB News. It'll be a different kind of news channel and I think Piers would be a huge asset for that kind of news channel."

Despite this, Andrew revealed he'd like to steer clear of repeating what Piers, 55, did on 'Good Morning Britain'.

The veteran broadcaster insisted he wanted to create something original on the channel.

He explained: "I wouldn't want to transfer what he was doing for 'Good Morning Britain' straight to GB News - I'd want to do something different with him at a different time of day."

Andrew is keen to recruit the outspoken TV star, but he acknowledged that Piers won't be short of offers in the coming weeks.

He said: "He is what he is, but he's also adaptable. He can do different things in different ways.

"But I think he would be a huge asset to our channel if we could get him and we will try to do so, and see if we can come to a mutual agreement. He won't be short of offers, so no doubt there will be a bit of competition."
