Ricky Gervais has announced he'll be making a one-off special episode of Derek.
After already running for two series, the sitcom was hugely successful and the star admits he did consider making a third, but ultimately wanted to stick to his usual format.
In a blog post Ricky said: "I did toy with a third series, particularly after the Emmy nod, but I decided to stick to my usual formula of two series and a special."
Both of Ricky's previous shows The Office and Extras ran the same way.
A number of other projects are in the works with his involvement, including the movie Life On The Road, following David Brent's musical exploits.
Personal experiences of making music have inspired the music he confirmed in an interview with ITV's This Morning.
"I brought him back briefly for Comic Relief, because people were asking, 'What is he doing now?'
"So it's ten years after 'The Office' and he is currently going up and down the UK selling cleaning products, but he's never let go of that dream of being a popstar!"
