The legendary comedian tragically passed away today (31.03.16) at the age of 85 and his youngest daughter has remembered her father and his undeniable charm.

She said: "I'm told when he was younger, my dad was a little bit of a ladykiller. And I can believe it because when I look back at photographs of him, he does have a little bit of a twinkle in his eye."

Speaking about her parents on The One Show, she added: "My mum and dad met working at an nightclub. My mum was known back then as Anne Hart - and she was really successful. She was leading lady of the West End and still is a fantastic diva. But she gave it up for us."

Meanwhile, tributes have flooded in for the late star, with Michael Palin praising his fantastic "sense of comic timing".

He shared: "He was a marvellous, sharp, concise performer. His sense of comic timing was absolutely perfect. Ronnie had a great sense of silliness, which I responded to. He could do the serious stuff as well, but there was a lovely sort of mischief. His eyes twinkled and he'd have a go at it. He was absolutely delightful to play with, and against, and do material with - and also just a good friend too.

"He was never one of those perfomers who got tired or world weary, he always seemed to be enjoying what he was doing. The people he worked with felt that, it was an infectious feeling of enjoyment and fun."
