Ronnie O'Sullivan wants to get in the next series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The five-time world snooker champion has previously said he "didn't have the balls" to deal with the Channel 5 show but after watching his friend and fellow snooker legend Steve Davis compete on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' he has changed his mind and would like to get involved.

Ronnie's girlfriend Laila Rouass - who finished fourth on 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2009 - has also encouraged the 37-year-old star to take part in the programme.

Ronnie - who has previously suffered from depression and drug-related problems - is backing Steve to win this year's 'I'm A Celebrity' and believes he is the funniest member of the group.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I would love to see Steve win it.

"He has the best sense of humour and he won't have a meltdown on a bad day."

However, the next 'Celebrity Big Brother' series begins in January 14 and appearing in the show could affect Ronnie's preparations for the 2014 World Snooker Championships, which begin in April.
