Sally Lindsay

Loose Women's Sally Lindsay married drummer Steve White after 10 years together.

The pair - who have three-year-old twin boys Victor and Louie - tied the knot after Steve walked her down the isle on their special day during a ceremony which took place shortly before Christmas.

She told Hello! Magazine: "The person who looks after me the most in the world is Steve so it would seem daft if we didn't walk up the aisle together.

"It was also really important to me that we walked down as a family."

Sally - who was catapulted to the spotlight on soap 'Coronation Street' as Shelley Unwin before leaving in 2006 - initially hadn't factored marriage and kids into her life but she insists her world changed when she met Steve.

She explained: "Some girls have been planning their wedding day since they were six, but I was never one of them.

"Steve changed everything.

"And to be honest, I never thought I'd have kids. Because of the career I'd chosen, I never thought it would be possible. And then I met Steve.

"I wanted to get married and have children with him. It was the man I met who changed everything for me, not the fantasy."

Others stars to join them on their special day included Denise Welch, Suranne Jones and Antony Cotton and Sally was delighted to share the special day with her loved ones.

She explained: "It was amazing and emotional and lovely to see everyone's faces. There were lots of very kind people there and people I'd known and loved for so long."
