The former 'Made in Chelsea' star - who was crowned King of the Jungle on the 2023 series of ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' has joined the broadcaster's longrunning daytime show as a roving reporter after being a guest on the show last month, and he's over the moon.

The 31-year-old reality star told the Daily Mirror: “I’ve always been a huge fan of This Morning and the energy and joy the show brings, but talking to Josie about how much she loves being part of the This Morning family in the jungle made me want to join the team even more.

“From being a guest on the show in December to now officially being announced as part of team This Morning... it’s a real pinch-me moment. I can’t wait to get started, nothing beats the excitement of live TV!"

Sam will be reunited with his campmate, Josie Gibson, 38, who is a regular segment presenter and announcer on the programme.

A source told the newspaper: “Josie started on the show as a roving reporter and look at her now, this could be the start of something special for Sam, whose popularity is huge.

“There’s already talk about what he might be doing next on the show now he’s part of the ITV family.”

His first job on Monday's (08.01.24) episode will see him joined by Alice Beer and Lisa Snowdon at Manchester Arndale shopping centre to solve shoppers' problems.

Sam - who shot to fame on E4's 'Made in Chelsea' alongside his sister Louise Thompson, 33 - is also known for his popular podcast with best pal Pete Wicks, 33, of 'The Only Way is Essex' fame, called 'Staying Relevant'.

He went on to beat boxing legend, Tony Bellew, 41, to the title of King of the Jungle.
