Following on from the huge success of AMC series Preacher (adapted from the comic book series of the same name), collaborators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have decided to let their creative juices flow and are now producing an original superhero television series for FOX.

Deadline reports that the pair have already signed an exclusive deal with the network to develop the series, which is being described as a single-camera sidekick-themed comedy, with writing from Mike Rosolio.
Revolving around a student at MIT who gets a job working for somebody not dissimilar to Steve Jobs, they'll soon discover that their boss is actually a crime-fighter who they can't help but become fascinated by.
Produced by the duo's Point Grey Pictures alongside Sony Pictures TV and Point Grey co-executive producer James Weaver, the series is currently in early stages and so no release date or even a year for release has been given.
