Louis Walsh thinks 'The X Factor' will help Sharon Osbourne get over her marriage troubles.

The 60-year-old music manager is to return as a judge on the ITV singing show - alongside Louis, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger - and her fellow panellist believes the new role will be a welcome distraction from Sharon's troubles with husband Ozzy Osbourne, who recently announced he had relapsed into using drugs and alcohol.

Louis told The Sun newspaper: "Sharon's going to be fine and I think she's looking forward to working. She can't wait to start back on 'The X Factor'.

"They are a couple and they are always going to be a couple. If Ozzy's a bad boy and starts taking drugs or drinking again, she will not stand for that. But they will always be together. They will sort it out, I know they will. I know how deeply they love each other. I've been in their company too much not to know that they'll come through this."

Sharon - who has replaced Tulisa on the panel - was previously a judge on the hit reality show with Louis and Simon Cowell between 2004 and 2007 but left the series after four series.

'The X Factor' auditions begin tomorrow (04.06.13) in Glasgow.
