The former 'Love Island' star, who was found dead at her parents' home aged 32 last month, was remembered at a memorial service in her hometown of Newcastle yesterday.

Sophie's boyfriend Aaron Armstrong paid tribute to the late model on Thursday, taking to his Instagram page to share a picture of the order of service.

He wrote: "I love you with all my heart my beautiful angel...

"I'm absolutely heartbroken I can't stop crying and I can feel your spirit in my soul...

"RIP Sophie Hannah Gradon. (sic)"

'Love Island' host Caroline Flack paid tribute to Sophie on the programme's spin-off show 'Love Island: Aftersun' last month.

Shortly before a commercial break, Caroline said: "Tragically this week, we lost a beautiful soul in Sophie Gradon.

"She was a gorgeous person both inside and out, and everyone's thoughts here at 'Love Island' are with Sophie's friends and family at this really terrible time.

"Sophie, we'll never forget you."

A short montage of Sophie then appeared before the adverts began.

'Love Island' paid tribute to Sophie the day after she was found dead by broadcasting a brief message of remembrance at the beginning of the following night's episode.

At the start of the episode, a slate appeared on ITV2 for a few seconds which read: "In loving memory of Sophie Gradon", accompanied by a picture of her smiling.

Caroline was one of the first stars to pay tribute to Sophie - who won Miss Great Britain in 2009 - seven years before she appeared on Love Island's second series.

The TV presenter wrote on Twitter: "So very sad . Such a beautiful soul .... such a beautiful smile ...thoughts and love with friends and family.(sic)"
