Stephen Bear was reportedly the lowest paid housemate to take part in the current series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The 'Ex on the Beach' star was only paid £12,000 to enter the famous abode, which sees celebrities locked up for a maximum of four weeks, despite claiming he was worth "millions" during negotiations with Channel 5 bosses.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He knew he would be one of the stars of the show and really pushed for a bumper pay cheque but the producers wouldn't budge."

And the 26-year-old star - who is known by his surname - will no doubt be fuming about his low pay cheque when he finds out that his fellow housemate Christopher Biggins, who was ejected from the abode following some controversial comments, was paid an estimated £150,000.

However, despite his lack of cash from the show, Bear was hoping he'd be able to secure some magazine deals with his now-ex-girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg upon his departure.

The source explained: "He had hoped he would be able to cash in with big bucks magazine deals with his girlfriend after leaving the house, having split with his manager and signed to the same management team as Lillie."

But it seems he may have ruined his chances after he dumped the blonde beauty, 25, on national television after getting cosy with his former housemate Chloe Khan.

The insider said: "Now that he has cheated on her [Lillie Lexie] with Chloe Khan he will have to work hard to build the relationship back up again."
