The 46-year-old presenter co-hosts the ITV breakfast news series with Piers, 52, each day and the pair's on-air clashes and friendly spats have propelled the programme to must-watch status.

Susanna is big fan of reality TV but she doesn't feel the need to take part in a series herself because she gets enough "drama, conflict and outrage" from sitting next to Piers on 'GMB'.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the National Reality TV Awards in London on Monday night (18.09.17), she said: "Being on 'Good Morning Britain' with Piers is like being on a reality show every day; you've got the drama, you've got the conflict, the outrage and the gossip. Ultimately our bottom line is we're a serious news programme but we also have a strong entertainment element too because it's important to keep the viewers with you all the time and you don't want a constant stream of bad news."

The pair have hosted 'GMB' for almost two years and Susanna insists she is very happy with the dynamic, despite their bickering.

The dark-haired beauty hopes their working relationship will continue for a lot longer but she thinks Piers is beginning to struggle with their very early starts.

She quipped: "I have learnt new levels of resilience and patience working with Piers, but I'm happy for it to last for as long as it lasts. The early mornings are kind of killing Piers, so I don't know how long he can do it!"

Susanna cleaned up at the National Reality TV Awards taking home three prizes for Best Talk Show, Best Presenter and Celebrity Personality Of The Year from the event.

And the TV journalist couldn't resist taking a jibe at Piers in one of her acceptance speeches at Porchester Hall.

She said on stage: "The main thing [that this award] is gonna do is really wind up Piers Morgan and anything that does that is good by me. So a huge thank you to the National Reality TV Awards, the people who voted and the viewers of 'Good Morning Britain.' "
