Over the weekend, Prime Video unveiled a teaser trailer for season three of The Boys, starring Karl Urban.
Fans were already looking forward to the third season of The Boys, and after their panel at South by Southwest (SXSW), excitement is at an all-time high.
The panel, which was moderated by Christian Slater, who voices a character in the animated series titled The Boys Presents: Diabolical, saw cast members along with showrunner, Eric Kripke, discuss details about the upcoming chapter of the fan-favourite superhero series.
The Boys is a well-crafted, humorous and action-packed show that details what superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities and seen as gods, can do when they abuse the powers given to them.
A group of vigilantes, who call themselves The Boys, continue their mission to reveal the truth about The Sven and Vought, the conglomerate that manages the heroes and covers up any dirty truths...
The newly-released teaser for Season 3 allows fans to take a sneak peek at the shocking moments that are ahead. The teaser also showcases some returning characters as well as some new faces appearing in the forthcoming season.
The clip is set to the song Bones by Imagine Dragons, a Grammy-winning band, which fits perfectly with the teaser and everything it highlights.
Season 3 of The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles.
The Boys is based off The New York Times best-selling comic, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers.
Season 3 of The Boys will premiere on Prime Video on Friday June 3rd, 2022, with three brand new episodes; new episodes will release each Friday thereafter, all leading up to the epic finale on July 8th, 2022.
