'Everything you thought you knew will change.' At least, that's what the extended trailer for the second part of The Flash season two has us believing.
Focusing on Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) villainous opponent Zoom, the visuals for the new batch of Flash episodes certainly don't let the audience down, with the return of Eobard Thawne AKA Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) also teased.
Earth-2 versions of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) also join the mix, as villains Killer Frost and Deathstorm respectively.
Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) opens the trailer and says: "Barry Allen, they call him the fastest man alive; he is not. That honour belongs to Zoom."
Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) also feature, alongside Earth-2 versions of Iris West (Candice Patton) and another Barry.
Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) rounds off the teaser with a laugh: "Good luck fixing the universe", whilst Earth-2's Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) also features.
Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg has previously explained how the new episodes of The Flash will be focusing on Central City and Barry's struggle with not only his own world, but the world and characters of Earth-2.
Crossover plans are going ahead once more, with John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson) heading to Central City, hunting down King Shark - there's no word yet on whether any Flash characters will drop into Star City on Arrow in return.
The Flash returns Tuesday, January 19 on The CW, followed by Arrow's comeback on Wednesday January 20 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow premiere on Thursday January 21, both also on The CW.
