TNA IMPACT Wrestling will now be broadcast exclusively on Challenge, who have signed a multi-year deal to air the show in the UK and Ireland.

The channel - which broadcasts on Virgin, Freeview and Sky - has announced a new partnership with the grappling company which will allow professional wrestling fans and Challenge viewers to catch more programming than ever before.

Although Challenge has aired TNA programmes since February 2011 - including 'TNA IMPACT Wrestling' on Sundays and 'TNA Xplosion' every Wednesday and the company's signature PPV events such as 'Bound for Glory' and 'Slammiversary' - the updated deal grants them the rights to TNA's archive.

TNA President Dixie Carter said: "TNA's relationship with our loyal fans in the UK and Ireland is a cornerstone of our remarkable international growth. By continuing our strong relationship with Challenge, fans will still be able to watch free weekly TNA programming, the most-viewed professional wrestling programme across the region."

Challenge will also be showing the 'TNA MAXIMUM IMPACT VI UK Tour' starting with a TV broadcast on Thursday 30 January 2014 from Glasgow's SSE Hydro with the event debuting on UK television before it airs in the US and the rest of the world.

Challenge's coverage of the live tour - featuring a host of top wrestlers such as Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle, Magnus, Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe - will also include double TV tapings in Manchester (January 31) and London (February 1) and a PPV event in Birmingham (February 2). Footage will also be recorded when TNA visits Dublin on January 29.

Tickets for the TV tapings are available from Gigsandtours.com, Ticketmaster.co.uk, Facebook.com/tnawrestlinguk
