The 45-year-old dancer - who is known as a former professional on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - is set to tie the knot with rugby star Ben Cohen, 44, and explained that she is excited to have a celebratory get together with family and friends following his "mindblowing" proposal in The Maldives.

She said: "Over the last nine years we’ve been through the wringer. Our working days are always full throttle and for so long we’ve been in our own bubble. Now I’m looking forward to having a get-together with loved ones. When we met he told me, 'I don't really do chocolates and flowers. But his proposal in The Maldives was beyond my imagination. My friends keep saying, ‘He’s so romantic! When he asked you to marry him it was like a scene from a movie. He needs to show other men how to do it.’ “They’re right. The way he proposed was amazing and where he did it is now my favourite place in the world. I can’t wait to go back one day."

The TV star - who met Ben when she was paired up with him on the BBC Latin and ballroom competition in 2013 - went on to add that there are plans for an Italian wedding or could hold the nuptials closer to home in Oxfordshire and that although she hasn't chosen a dress yet, she is inspired by the likes of late Hollywood icons Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor and noted that their five-year-old daughter Mila is "so excited" for the big day.

She told HELLO! magazine: "I'm so excited! Although I haven't chosen my dress yet, I know which style I want. My favourite fashion eras are the 1950s and 1960s and I adore the designs worn by Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. I love classic simplicity and an hourglass shape that suits my body. "I'll probably opt for a shade of white, perhaps one with a golden glow. It would be beautiful in both [Italy or Oxfordshire].

One thing's for sure, though, our little girl Mila can;t wait to be a flower girl!"
