Still on a high from their loved ones’ letters, the celebrities received another surprise in Camp when they were shown video messages from their friends or family.
After nearly three weeks in the jungle, each celebrity received a special message which they viewed on a plasma TV brought into Camp.
First up was George who received a message from his husband Brad. Focused on the image of this husband’s face, George grinned as Brad said ‘I am a few hundred yards from where you are sitting...if I just shouted you name George I love you I miss you desperately you’d probably hear me right now...I’m so proud of you I know you’ll be in my arms within hours, days, minutes, this show is so unpredictable. When you come out I’m going to be there to give you a big hug.’
All the camp mates offered words of support after his message, ‘You’ve got a handsome husband’ said Joe. ‘He’s cute’ agreed Martina, ‘He’s still got most of his hair.’
Next up was Martina who received a message from friend Juraj Kralik: ‘We are very proud of you....we are missing you so much. Don’t worry your sweetheart is in daily touch with us...she’s very proud of you and she’s supporting you from overseas sending millions and millions of kisses for you.’
Thrilled by her message, Joe hugged her and said: ‘It’s your lady, she’s loving you, she’s sending all her love over.’
